Spring Cleaning Week

Here at Rock Creek Senior Living Ankeny, IA our spring cleaning activities usually start with emptying all the storage closets, to get rid of those items that have accumulated throughout the year and haven’t been used. The next thing we do is to make sure all the windows and trim have been cleaned. A little scratch cover is used in the places that need it.

The greatest benefit of spring cleaning is the feeling of a new, fresh environment and the beginning of a new year. It always feels good to know that last year is over and we have a chance to do things differently and better than before. We are always looking for a better way of doing our job.

There are a lot of places that could use a little spring cleaning. We could always upgrade our computer systems by cleaning up the junk that has collected and is slowing down the efficiency. I like to look at changes that we can make personally in our day to day lives that can increase the positive outlook on ourselves. I think feeling good about yourself is important in how you interact and treat others in your life. Maybe a little personal cleanup is for all of us?
