Rock Creek Senior Living Looks Forward to This Year’s Spring-Cleaning

Spring-cleaning is celebrated in cultures across the world. Due to the tilt of the Earth on its axis, the northern hemisphere begins to see the winter-scape come to life with daffodils blooming, grass greening, and temperatures warming during late March, into early April.  

Spring-cleaning has grown into National Spring-Cleaning Week. This annual effort has expanded beyond house and business cleaning into peoples’ finances, technology, and other areas of a person’s life. With that in mind, Rock Creek Senior Living is looking forward to completing this year’s community-wide spring-cleaning effort!

Dusting is a key component when it comes to cleaning. It is not only a visible clean, but the circulating dust particles in the air can cause respiratory issues. One benefit of spring cleaning is it creates a calm environment that can reduce stress with a sense of accomplishment.

Changing your HVAC filters during spring-cleaning will reduce dust particles and allergens that can cause respiratory issues. Clogged filters can also cause your HVAC unit to overheat, causing unnecessary repairs to your system.
